Their first day in the mission field is an exhausting one for our new missionaries. They have to get up around 2:00 am to get from the MTC to Salt Lake City to catch their flight. We meet them at the Milwaukee airport and take them to the stake center or to the mission home, depending on the size of the group. They're always happy to have a good homemade meal. President Cutler interviews each one while the office couples and assistants train them in various aspects of missionary life. The evening culminates with a testimony meeting, and then we put them to bed early!
